Searching for a name...

I've been bad ignoring this site, haven't I? Not that I'm surprised... not that I ever intended to make this a day-to-day blog. (I have another one for that.) However--I did plan on using this blog as a sounding board for ideas and random thought while writing. Problem is, I haven't actually done any writing since arriving in London, other than in my blog. The main reason, I'd say, is ismply that I haven't had a place to write... not really, anyway, though I suppose a real writer practices his craft anywhere possible. Second excuse would be the lack of a computer--I'm still trying to save up for one and haven't had much luck so far. And I'm sure I could list more excuses if I worked at it a bit.

Fortunately, something's come up that might help give me the kick I need. It's something I'd chatted with Bagel about before, and that he'd tried with his friend B-- in the past (and failed). A little writing circle, an author's club... whatever you want to call it. We'll give each other tasks, deadlines, and share each other's work and give feedback and all that. There's three of us. Scary thing is, I'm supposed to be the motivator in the group, to make sure we actually get stuff done. Wow. We may be doomed before we even begin. Our current goal is a simple one: to write a short story, any length, any topic, by the end of March. So you might want to check this space again in the near future: there might actually be something here.

Oh, and any ideas what our humble little group should call itself?
